4(1)In sections 17 and 18 of the [1985 c. 13.] Cinemas Act 1985 for the words " the Greater London Council " and " the Council " , wherever they occur, there shall be substituted respectively the words " a local authority in Greater London " and " the authority " .
(2)In section 21(1) of that Act, in the definition of " local authority " , for the words " the Greater London Council" there shall be substituted the words " a London borough council, the Common Council of the City of London" .
