Disciplinary and other proceedings
28 Revocation of licence on grounds of fraud or error.

Where a person has had any relevant licence which was held by him revoked because of fraud on that person's part, the person may not be issued with a licence under this Part except on the advice of the Committee given to the Council as the result of an application made by the person to the Committee.

On any such application the Committee may, if they think fit, direct that the applicant shall be disqualified from holding F6any relevant licence until the expiration of such period as may be specified in the direction.

Section 27 shall apply in relation to a direction under subsection (3) as it applies in relation to any such order as is referred to in section 26(2)(b).

In relation to proceedings for the revocation of a licence under subsection (1), the Discipline and Appeals Committee may make such order as they consider fit as to the payment of costs by—
a
the Council;
b
the licensed conveyancer to whose licence the proceedings relate.

In relation to proceedings on an application under subsection (2), the Discipline and Appeals Committee may make such order as they consider fit as to the payment of costs by—
a
the Council;
b
the applicant.

In this section “relevant licence” has the meaning given by section 26.
