In paragraph 8 of schedule 1 to the Land Drainage Act 1976 (disqualification for membership of land drainage committees), for sub-paragraph (2) there shall be substituted the following sub-paragraph—

“(2)

Where a person is disqualified under sub-paragraph (1) above by reason of having been adjudged bankrupt, the disqualification shall cease—

(a)

unless the bankruptcy order made against that person is previously annulled, on his discharge from bankruptcy; and

(b)

if the bankruptcy order is so annulled, on the date of the annulment.”
