3 Power to change the circumstances in which consent must be given.E+W+S

(1)The Ministers may by order made by statutory instrument make such amendments of this Act as they think fit for the purpose of changing the circumstances min which an authorised officer is required to give written consent to the movement of produce.

(2)Before making such an order, the Ministers shall consult such organisations as appear to them to represent interests likely to be affected by the order.

[F1(2A)Subsection (2) does not apply to an order which makes amendments that apply only in relation to England.]

(3)An order under this section shall be subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament.

(4)In this section “the Ministers” means the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the Secretary of State, acting jointly.
