SCHEDULE 8 U.K. Transitional Provisions and Savings

Part I U.K. Provisions and Savings Coming into Force on Appointed Day

3 E+W+S Any regulations made under section 25 of the 1972 Act which are effective on the appointed day shall have effect as if—

(a) they were made under section 12 of this Act; and

(b) references in those regulations to the Corporation were references to a public gas supplier within the meaning of Part I of this Act;

and the provisions of this Act shall apply accordingly.
