This is the original version (as it was originally enacted).
(1)The Greek Marriages Act 1884 shall cease to have effect.
(2)Any marriage in respect of which a declaration that it was a valid marriage could before the commencement of this Part have been made under the [1884 c. 20] Greek Marriages Act 1884 is hereby declared to have been a valid marriage; but nothing in this subsection shall affect any status or right which would not have been affected by a declaration under that Act.
