SCHEDULE 16 Consequential Amendments

In the M1Local Authorities’ Mutual Investment Trust Act 1968—
a
in section 1(2) for the words “recognised stock exchange within the meaning of the Prevention of Fraud (Investments) Act 1958" there shall be substituted the words “recognised investment exchange within the meaning of the Financial Services Act 1986"; and
b
in the definition of “unit trust scheme” in section 2 for the words “Prevention of Fraud (Investments) Act 1958" there shall be substituted the words “Financial Services Act 1986".
