Housing and Planning Act 1986, Cross Heading: Development orders is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 09 March 2025. There are changes that may be brought into force at a future date. Changes that have been made appear in the content and are referenced with annotations.
30In section 21 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1972 (development orders), for subsection (3) (general and special orders) substitute—
“(3)A development order may be made either—
(a)as a general order applicable, except so far as the order otherwise provides, to all land, but which may make different provision with respect to different descriptions of land, or
(b)as a special order applicable only to such land or descriptions of land as may be specified in the order.”.
