5In paragraph (a) of the definition of “bank” in section 87(1) of the M1Solicitors Act 1974 for the words “a recognised bank within the meaning of the Banking Act 1979” there shall be substituted the words “ an institution authorised under the Banking Act 1987 ” and paragraph (b) of that definition shall be omitted.
