SCHEDULE 8 Custodial Sentences for Young Offenders

Part I Amendments

Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (c. 53)

9 In section 5 of the [1974 c. 53.] Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (rehabilitation periods) the words “detention in a young offenders institution” shall be inserted—

(a) in subsection (1)(b), after the words “youth custody”; and

(b) in subsection (2), in Table A, after the word “imprisonment”, in both places where it occurs.
