108 Annual exempt amount for 1988-89.U.K.
For the year 1988-89 section 5 of the M1Capital Gains Tax Act 1979 (annual exempt amount) shall have effect as if the amount specified in subsection (1A) were £5,000; and accordingly subsection (1B) of that section (indexation) shall not apply for that year.
