Local Government Finance Act 1988, Section 148 is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 05 March 2025. There are changes that may be brought into force at a future date. Changes that have been made appear in the content and are referenced with annotations.
(1)There shall be paid out of money provided by Parliament—
(a)any expenses of the Secretary of State incurred in consequence of this Act, and
(b)any increase attributable to this Act in the sums payable out of money so provided under any other enactment.
(2)Any sums received by the Secretary of State in consequence of this Act shall be paid into the Consolidated Fund.
