SCHEDULE 3 Agricultural Worker Conditions
Interpretation

(1)
In this Schedule—
“the 1976 Act” means the M1Rent (Agriculture) Act 1976;
“agriculture” has the same meaning as in the 1976 Act; and
“relevant tenancy or licence” means a tenancy or licence of a description specified in section 24(2) of this Act.
(2)
In relation to a relevant tenancy or licence—
(a)
“the occupier” means the tenant or licensee; and
(b)
“the dwelling-house” means the dwelling-house which is let under the tenancy or, as the case may be, is occupied under the licence.
(3)
Schedule 3 to the 1976 Act applies for the purposes of this Schedule as it applies for the purposes of that Act and, accordingly, shall have effect to determine—
(a)
whether a person is a qualifying worker;
(b)
whether a person is incapable of whole-time work in agriculture, or work in agriculture as a permit worker, in consequence of a qualifying injury or disease; and
(c)
whether a dwelling-house is in qualifying ownership.
