8Regulations

The powers of the Secretary of State under this Act to make regulations shall be exercisable by statutory instrument subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament.

Regulations made in exercise of any such power may—
a
contain such supplemental, consequential and transitional provision as the Secretary of State considers appropriate; and
b
make different provision for different cases (including different provision for different persons, circumstances or localities).
