SCHEDULE 25 Minor and Consequential Amendments

The Competition Act 1980 (c. 21)

(1)

For paragraph (c) of section 11(3) of the Competition Act 1980 (references of public bodies etc. to the Monopolies Commission) there shall be substituted the following paragraph—

“(c)

the National Rivers Authority;”.

(2)

In section 19 of that Act (restriction on disclosure of information)—

(a)

in subsection (2)(a), after the words “the Civil Aviation Authority,” there shall be inserted the words “the Director General of Water Services,”; and

(b)

in subsection (3), after paragraph (k) there shall be inserted the following paragraph—

“(l)

the Water Act 1989.”
