Electricity Act 1989, Cross Heading: The Nuclear Installations Act 1965 (c.57) is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 09 March 2025. 11U.K.For subsection (4) of section 3 of the Nuclear Installations Act 1965 (nuclear site licences) there shall be substituted the following subsection—
“(4)Subsection (3) of this section shall not apply in relation to an application in respect of a site for a generating station where a consent under section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989 or Article 33 of the Electricity Supply (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 is required for the operation of the station.”
