7For the purposes of Part V of the Transport Act 1968 (licensing of road haulage operators) as it applies in relation to licences granted before the commencement of section 144(1), the expression “subsidiary” has the meaning given by section 736 of the [1985 c. 6.] Companies Act 1985 as originally enacted.
