2 E+W In section 1(2)(a) of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933 (cruelty to persons under sixteen), after the words “young person" there shall be inserted “ , or the legal guardian of a child or young person," ”.

3 E+W Section 40 of that Act shall cease to have effect.
