Children Act 1989, Cross Heading: The Local Government Act 1972 (c. 70) is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 05 March 2025. 31(1)In section 102(1) of the Local Government Act 1972 (appointment of committees) for the words “section 31 of the Child Care Act 1980" there shall be substituted “ section 53 of the Children Act 1989" ”.E+W
(2)In Schedule 12A to that Act (access to information: exempt information), in Part III (interpretation), in paragraph 1(1)(b) for the words “section 20 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1969" there shall be substituted “ section 31 of the Children Act 1989" ”.
