Schedule 7 (multipliers) shall be amended as follows.

In paragraph 7(1) for the words from “Regulations” to “that” there shall be substituted “In relation to a relevant financial year the Secretary of State may make regulations providing that”.

In paragraph 8(3) for “section 57” there shall be substituted “paragraph 7”.

In paragraph 9(4) (certain orders ineffective unless in force before 1 January) for “January” there shall be substituted “March”.

In paragraph 10(1) (special authority’s power to set multiplier in substitution) the words “because of a failure to fulfil paragraph 9(2) or (3) above” shall be omitted.
