(g)paragraph 16(4)(b)(ii) of Schedule 3 to the M7Social Security Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 1975;

(j)regulation 35(2)(a)(ii) of the M8Occupational Pension Schemes (Contracting out) Regulations 1984;

for the words “the Official Secrets Acts 1911 to 1939” there shall be substituted the words “ the Official Secrets Acts 1911 to 1989 ”.

3In paragraph (b) of section 9(4) of the M11Interception of Communications Act 1985 the words “or 2” shall be omitted and after that paragraph there shall be inserted—
“(bb)an offence under section 4 of the Official Secrets Act 1989 relating to any such information, document or article as is mentioned in subsection (3)(a) of that section;”.

4Any provision in a public service pension scheme (within the meaning of the Social Security Act 1973 or the Social Security Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 1975) which has effect in relation to conviction of an offence under the Official Secrets Acts 1911 to 1939 shall be construed as if the reference to such an offence included a reference to an offence under this Act.
