37 Application of certain general provisions of principal Act.

(1)

The provisions of the principal Act specified in subsection (2) shall apply for the purposes of this Act as they apply for the purposes of that Act.

(2)

Those provisions are—

  • F1sections 319ZA to 319ZD (Wales: discharge of functions of local planning authority relating to applications)

  • section 320 (local inquiries)

  • section F2322 (orders as to costs of parties where no inquiry held F3: England )

  • section F4322A (orders as to costs: supplementary)

  • F5section 322C (costs: Wales)

  • 323 (procedure on certain appeals and applications F6: England )

  • F7section 323A (procedure for certain proceedings: Wales)

  • F8section 327ZA (powers as to form and content of applications in England);

  • section 329 (service of notices)

  • F9section 329A(1) and (2) (service of notices on the Crown)

  • section 330 (power to require information as to interests in land)

  • F10section 330A(1) to (4) (information as to interests in Crown land)

  • section 331 (offences by corporations).

In section 327ZA of the principal Act as applied by this section, references to a planning application are to be read as references to an application under, or for the purposes of, any provision of this Act or any subordinate provision made under this Act (but are not to be read as including an application made in legal proceedings).
