27Section 128 of the M1Town and Country Planning Act 1971 (use and development of consecrated land and burial grounds) applies to consecrated land and land comprised in a burial ground, within the meaning of that section, which an NHS trust holds for any of its purposes as if—

(a)that land had been acquired by the trust as mentioned in subsection (1) of that section; and

(b)the trust were a statutory undertaker, within the meaning of that Act.
