53Minor and consequential amendments and repeals

The enactments mentioned in Schedule 3 to this Act have effect subject to the minor and consequential amendments specified in that Schedule.
2
The enactments mentioned in Schedule 4 to this Act (which include spent provisions) are hereby repealed to the extent specified in the third column of that Schedule.
