In section 17(1) of the Commons Registration Act 1965 (Commons Commissioners) for the words “barristers or solicitors of not less than seven years’ standing" there shall be substituted “ persons who have a 7 year general qualification, within the meaning of section 71 of the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990," ”.
