In section 26(1) of that Act (appointment of justices’ clerk) for the words “is a barrister or solicitor of not less than five years’ standing" there shall be substituted “has a 5 year magistrates’ court qualification, within the meaning of section 71 of the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990,".
