SCHEDULE 3 The Channel Four Television Corporation: Supplementary Provisions

Appointment of members

(1)

A person shall be disqualified for being a member of the Corporation so long as he is—

(a)

a governor or employee of the BBC; F1or

(b)

a member or employee of OFCOM.

(2)

Before appointing a person to be a member of the Corporation, F2OFCOM shall satisfy themselves that that person will have no such financial or other interest as is likely to affect prejudicially the discharge by him of his functions as a member of the Corporation; and F2OFCOM shall also satisfy themselves from time to time with respect to every member of the Corporation that he has no such interest.

(3)

Any person who is, or whom F2OFCOM propose to appoint to be, a member of the Corporation shall, whenever requested by F2OFCOM to do so, furnish them with such information as they consider necessary for the performance by them of their duties under sub-paragraph (2).
