(1)The enactments and instruments mentioned in Schedule 4 to this Act shall have effect with the amendments there specified, being amendments consequential on or otherwise relating to the provisions of this Act.
(2)For the avoidance of doubt it is hereby declared that the amendment by that Schedule of the definition of “drug trafficking offence” in section 38(1) of the M1Drug Trafficking Offences Act 1986 applies to that definition as applied by any other enactment, including this Act.
(3)The enactments mentioned in Schedule 5 to this Act are hereby repealed to the extent specified in the third column of that Schedule.
(4)Article 9 of the M2Criminal Justice (Evidence, Etc.) (Northern Ireland) Order 1988 is hereby revoked.
