Land within an area described as the site of a proposed new town in the draft of an order in respect of which a notice has been published under paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 to the [1981 c. 64] New Towns Act 1981.

• Note

  Land shall cease to be within this paragraph when—

  1. a

     the order comes into operation (whether in the form of the draft or with modifications), or

  2. b

     the Secretary of State decides not to make the order.
