Section 131 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (application of road traffic enactments to Crown roads) is amended as follows.

In subsection (2)(a) (twice), and in subsection (2)(b), for “highway authority” or, in Scotland, “roads authority” substitute “ local traffic authority ”.

In subsection (7)(b) for “a highway” or, in Scotland, “a public road” substitute “ a highway or, in Scotland, a public road ”.
