F1Further functions of Authority
30ZADuty to consult Council
1
It shall be the duty of the Authority to consult the Council in relation to the exercise of each of its functions, except where—
a
the Council has indicated to the Authority (whether specifically or generally) that it does not wish to be consulted; or
b
the Authority considers that it would be clearly inappropriate to consult the Council.

That duty is in addition to any duty on the Authority to consult the Council which is provided for elsewhere.
30ZBCopies of notices
Where the Authority is required by any provision of this Act to publish a notice or any other document, it shall send a copy of the document to the Council.
X130AF2Determination of disputes by F4the Authority.

In this section “relevant dispute” means a dispute which, by virtue of any provision of this Act, may be referred to F4the Authority for determination under this section.

A determination under this section—
a
shall be final; and
b
shall be enforceable as if it were a judgment of F3the county court, in so far as it includes such provision as to costs or expenses as is mentioned in subsection (4) above.

F4The Authority shall not determine any relevant dispute which is the subject of proceedings before, or with respect to which judgment has been given by, any court.

In including in any determination under this section any provision as to costs or expenses, F4the Authority shall have regard to the conduct and means of the parties and any other relevant circumstances.
