175 Vesting of pipes in the [Agency].E+W
(1)Subject to any provision to the contrary contained in an agreement between the [Agency] and the person in whom an interest in the pipe is or is to be vested, every pipe which—
(a)is a relevant pipe for the purposes of section 159 or 160 above; and
(b)has been laid, in exercise of any power conferred by Chapter I of this Part or otherwise, by the [Agency],
shall vest in the [Agency].
(2)Subsection (1) above is without prejudice to the vesting of anything in the [Agency] by virtue of the exercise by the [Agency] of any power to acquire property by agreement or compulsorily.
