Further and Higher Education Act 1992, Paragraph 79 is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 05 March 2025. There are changes that may be brought into force at a future date. Changes that have been made appear in the content and are referenced with annotations.
79(1)In section 25(6) (general duty in public sector of education)—E+W+S
(a)in paragraph (c)(i), for “4A” there is substituted “ 3B ”, and
(b)after paragraph (c) there is added—
“ (d) the Further Education Funding Council for England and the Further Education Funding Council for Wales. ”
(2)In relation to a further education corporation or a Further Education Funding Council the reference in section 25(2) to [F1section 497 of the Education Act 1996] is to be read as a reference to section 57(3) of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992.
