Continuity of exercise of functions

Any relevant thing done by or in relation to the college council for a college of further education before the date appointed in relation to that college for the purposes of section 11(1) of this Act shall, so far as is required for continuing its effect on and after that date, have effect as if done by or in relation to the board of management of the college.

Any relevant thing which, immediately before that date, is in the process of being done by or in relation to the college council for a college of further education may be continued by or in relation to the board of management of the college.

In this paragraph “relevant” in relation to anything done by or in relation to the college council for a college before that date means anything which, if it were to be done on or after that date, would be done by or in relation to the board of management of the college.
