79 Treasury bills. U.K.

(1) In section 8 of the M1 Treasury Bills Act 1877 (bills to be issued under Treasury warrant countersigned by Comptroller and Auditor General) the words “countersigned by the Comptroller and Auditor General" shall be omitted.

(2) This section shall apply where the warrant concerned is issued on or after the day on which this Act is passed.

80 Publication of rates of interest. U.K.

(1) Section 5(8) of the M2 National Loans Act 1968 (which requires the Treasury to publish certain rates of interest in the London and Edinburgh Gazettes) shall cease to have effect.

(2) This section shall have effect in relation to rates of interest determined after the day on which this Act is passed.
