(1)In section 8 of the M1Treasury Bills Act 1877 (bills to be issued under Treasury warrant countersigned by Comptroller and Auditor General) the words “countersigned by the Comptroller and Auditor General" shall be omitted.
(2)This section shall apply where the warrant concerned is issued on or after the day on which this Act is passed.
