SCHEDULE 2Consequential amendments

Law Reform (Personal Injuries) Act 1948

In section 2 of the M1Law Reform (Personal Injuries) Act 1948 (measure of damages)—

(a)

in subsection (1)(a), for the words “section 22 of the Social Security Act 1989” there shall be substituted the words “section 81 of the Social Security Administration Act 1992”; and

(b)

in subsection (1A), for the words “paragraph 4(1) of Schedule 4 to the Social Security Act 1989” there shall be substituted the words “section 85(1) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992”.
