SCHEDULE 4 Pre-Consolidation Amendments
Fishing vessel certificates: incidental offences

Sections 280 to 282(a) of the 1894 Act (delivery up and posting of certificates and penalty for falsity) as applied by section 3(4) of the M1Fishing Vessels (Safety Provisions) Act 1970 shall have effect—
a
with the substitution in section 281 of a reference to a copy of the certificate for the reference to a duplicate; and
b
with the omission in section 282(a) of the words “knowingly and”.
