“the 1980 Act” means the M1Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980;

“the Agency” means the Urban Regeneration Agency;

“designation order” and “designated area” have the meanings given by section 170;

“highway” has the same meaning as in the M2Highways Act 1980;

“private street” has the same meaning as in PartXI of that Act.
