In section 106(3) of the M1Education Reform Act 1988 (exceptions from the prohibition of charges in maintained schools) for paragraph (a) there is substituted—

“(a)

tuition in playing any musical instrument, where the tuition is provided either individually or to a group of no more than four pupils; or”.
