Provision of information by the Director General
C114 Annual report.

As soon as possible after the end of every financial year, the Director General shall make a report on the exercise of his functions during that year to the Secretary of State.

In subsection (1) “financial year” means—

the period beginning with the date on which section 3A comes into force and ending with the next 31st March, and

each successive period of twelve months ending with 31st March.

The Secretary of State shall lay a copy of every report received by him under this section before Parliament.

Where a report is made by the National Lottery Commission under sub-section (1) to the Scottish Ministers (by virtue of provision made under section 63 of the Scotland Act 1998), the Scottish Ministers shall lay a copy of the report before the Scottish Parliament.
15 Power of the Secretary of State to require information.
The Director General shall provide the Secretary of State with such information relating to the National Lottery or a lottery forming part of it as the Secretary of State may direct.
