Part II U.K. DISTRIBUTION OF THE NET PROCEEDS OF THE NATIONAL LOTTERY

23 The distributing bodies. U.K.

(1) So much of any sum paid into the Distribution Fund as is allocated for expenditure on or connected with the arts shall be held in the Distribution Fund—

F1 [(a) as to [F2 71.1 per cent.], for distribution by the Arts Council of England,

(b) as to [F3 7.74 per cent.], for distribution by the Scottish Arts Council,

(c) as to 5 per cent., for distribution by the Arts Council of Wales, F4 . . .

(d) as to 2.8 per cent., for distribution by [F5 the Arts Council of Northern Ireland]F6 [F7 . . .

(e) as to 12.2 per cent., for distribution by the Film Council][F8 , and

(f) as to 1.16 per cent, for distribution by Scottish Screen.]]

(2) So much of any sum paid into the Distribution Fund as is allocated for expenditure on or connected with sport shall be held in the Distribution Fund—

(a) as to [F9 62 per cent] , for distribution by [F10 the English Sports Council],

(b) as to [F11 8.1 per cent.], for distribution by the Scottish Sports Council,

(c) as to [F12 4.5 per cent.], for distribution by the Sports Council for Wales, and

(d) as to [F13 2.6 per cent.], for distribution by the Sports Council for Northern Ireland[F14 and

(e) as to [F15 22.8” per cent] ., for distribution by the United Kingdom Sports Council.]

(3) So much of any sum paid into the Distribution Fund as is allocated for expenditure on or connected with the national heritage shall be held in the Distribution Fund for distribution by the Trustees of the National Heritage Memorial Fund.

[F16 (4) So much of any sum paid into the Distribution Fund as is allocated under section 22(3)(d) shall be held by the Distribution Fund for distribution by the Big Lottery Fund (established under section 36A).]
