180 Consultations about other regulations.N.I.

(1)The power of the Department to make regulations under section 158 shall be exercisable only after consultation with the [F1Financial Services Authority or, if the matter concerns section 464 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988, the Commissioners of the Inland Revenue]

(2)Before making any regulations under paragraph 7 of Schedule 1 [F2the Department or, as the case may be, the Secretary of State] shall consult with such bodies concerned with employments of the class in question as appear to it [F3or him] fairly to represent the interests of the employers and earners in those employments.
