In sections 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the Servants’ Characters Act 1792 (summary offences of fraud relating to employment), for the words from “shall forfeit” onwards substitute “ shall be guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 2 on the standard scale ”.
