50(1)In section 23(1) of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976 (interpretation), in paragraph (b) of the definition of “local authority”, for “district” substitute “ county borough ”.
(2)In Schedule 1 to that Act (registration of societies), in paragraph 1(2)(b), for “district” substitute “ county council or county borough ”.
(3)In paragraph 1(2) of Schedule 3 to that Act (permits for commercial provision of amusements with prizes: interpretation), in paragraph (b) of the definition of “local authority”, for “district” substitute “ county council or county borough ”.
