Anything done, or having effect as done, (including the making of subordinate legislation and the issuing of licences) under or for the purposes of any provision repealed or revoked by this Act has effect as if done under or for the purposes of any corresponding provision of this Act.

Sub-paragraph (1) does not apply to the M1Vehicle Licences (Duration and Rate of Duty) Order 1980.
