In section 106 of the M1Housing Associations Act 1985 (minor definitions), in subsection (1), in the definition of “local authority”—
a
for the words “sections 84(5) and 85(4)" there shall be substituted the words “
section 84(5)
”

b
at the end there shall be added the words “
and in section 85(4) includes such a joint authority and a police authority established under section 3 of the M2Police Act 1964
”
