In section 64 of the Justices of the M1Peace Act 1979 (disqualification in certain cases of justices who are members of local authorities), in subsection (6) (definition of local authority) for the word “and" (in the first place where it occurs) there shall be substituted the words “ a police authority established under section 3 of the M2Police Act 1964, ”.
