Part III General provisions
20 Crown application.
This Act binds the Crown.
I121 Consequential amendments and repeals.

The enactments specified in Schedule 1 are amended in accordance with that Schedule, the amendments being consequential on the provisions of this Act.

The enactments specified in Schedule 2 are repealed to the extent specified.

The amendments consequential on Part I of this Act (namely those in paragraphs 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 12 of Schedule 1) shall not have effect in relation to any disposition of property to which, by virtue of section 10(1) or 11 above (transitional provisions), section 76 of the Law of Property Act 1925 or section 24(1)(a) of the Land Registration Act 1925 continues to apply.
22 Extent.

The provisions of this Act extend to England and Wales.

In addition—
a
the provisions of Schedules 1 and 2 (consequential amendments and repeals) extend to Scotland so far as they relate to enactments which so extend; and
b
the provisions of Schedule 1 extend to Northern Ireland so far as they relate to enactments which so extend.
P123 Commencement.

The provisions of this Act come into force on such day as the Lord Chancellor may appoint by order made by statutory instrument.

Different days may be appointed for different provisions and for different purposes.
24 Short title.
This Act may be cited as the Law of Property (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1994.
