2 Short title, commencement, repeals and extent.E+W+S
(1)This Act may be cited as the Transport Police (Jurisdiction) Act 1994.
(2)This Act shall come into force on 1st April 1994.
(3)Section 132(5) of the M1Railways Act 1993 (which sets out the jurisdiction of the transport police in relation to certain agreements) shall cease to have effect.
(4)The enactments mentioned in the Schedule to this Act are hereby repealed to the extent specified in the third column of that Schedule.
(5)Section 1 of this Act extends to England and Wales only.
(6)This Act does not extend to Northern Ireland.
